Notice For Electronic Spring Fairs 2021
With many pandemic-related travel restrictions remaining in place, exhibitors and buyers may have difficulty joining the Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Spring Edition) scheduled for 13-16 April 2021. After consultation with industry representatives and key stakeholders, the HKTDC has decided to move the Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Spring Edition) to 13-16 April 2022. Meanwhile, the HKTDC Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Autumn Edition) and electronicAsia will be organised on 13-16 October 2021 as planned.
You may wish to note that the HKTDC has decided to consolidate the other seven trade fairs scheduled for April 2021 - Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair, Hong Kong Baby Products Fair, Hong Kong Houseware Fair, Hong Kong International Home Textiles and Furnishings Fair, Hong Kong Fashion Week, Hong Kong Gifts & Premium Fair, and Hong Kong International Printing & Packaging Fair (co-organised with CIEC Exhibition Company (HK) Limited), into a new sourcing event entitled “HKTDC International Sourcing Show. You are also welcome to join this show if your products could fit into any of these seven fairs.
Digital fair date: 17-31 March 2021 (with continued exposure on hktdc.com Sourcing platform till the physical fair ends in July 2021)
Physical fair date and venue: 26-29 July 2021 ▪ Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.With this new arrangement, industry players will be able to use the HKTDC’s dedicated online exhibition platform to capture the business opportunities of the sourcing season in March, and to participate in a physical fair held in Hong Kong when the pandemic situation is expected to be more in control. The participation details of the International Sourcing Show will be announced in end of December.
We believe the hybrid model of International Sourcing Show will create synergy, and assist exhibitors and buyers to make early arrangements to cope with the post-pandemic “new normal”
鉴于全球多个国家及地区疫情持续，各项隔离及限制出入境措施仍然实施中，导致参展商及买家来港出席贸发局原定于2021年4月13至16日举行的「香港春季电子产品展」仍存在不明朗因素。本局经与业界及有关持份者磋商后，决定将原定2021年展览移至2022年4月13至16日假香港会议展览中心举行。而十月份的香港贸发局「香港秋季电子产品展」及「国际电子组件及生产技术展」将按计划进行。
与此同时，本局决定将其余原定于2021年4月举行的七个贸易展览，即「香港玩具展」、「香港婴儿用品展」、「香港家庭用品展」、「香港国际家用纺织品展」、「香港时装节」、「香港礼品及赠品展」以及「香港国际印刷及包装展」，一并集合成香港贸发局「国际采购汇」，以网上及实体模式举行, 贵公司亦欢迎参与其中。
网上展日期: 2021年3月17至31日 (配合利用贸发采购网平台作推广直到实体展于7月底完结)
实体展日期及地点: 2021年7月26至29日 ▪ 香港会议展览中心
此项安排可让买卖双方在疫情仍未消退下，提早于三月份的采购旺季利用香港贸发局的专属网上展览平台进行商贸配对和遥距视像洽谈，待疫情缓和后再透过七月举办的实体展览，全方位捕捉更多商机。我们相信「国际采购汇」的在线线下模式能协助买卖双方尽早作好部署，应对疫后的新常态。有关「国际采购汇」的参展详情将于十二月底公布。
